How to use this product?
work a generous scoop through damp, towel-dried hair, focusing on mid-lengths and ends. leave on for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. use once a week, up to twice.

The understory is the layer of a rainforest that grows beneath the canopy: dense, green and quietly strong. our name comes from the Colombian jungle, its nature, and the women who grew up around it.
Women like my mother, the first matriarch of our family, with thick, dark, heavy hair that nothing on the shelf was made for. so i made the masque they deserved.
